Answers · Post-OTA boot

What must first boot validate after OTA?

Direct answer

After OTA, first boot should verify the image signature, run targeted self-tests on sensors and radios, migrate the config schema, and only then mark the new firmware healthy. If a gateway radio test fails, boot the prior bank or enter a visible safe mode instead of letting app features run half-updated. Log each step for returns analysis.
