Should crash reporting differ for firmware vs companion app?

Yes. Firmware crashes need reset reason registers, the last checkpoint, uptime, and optionally a capped coredump moved off-device. App crashes need stack traces plus BLE session context, not duplicate hardware registers. When a phone app fails during a sensor OTA, correlate both reports with one incident ID.
